Model Arbitration Clause

“Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this contract shall be finally settled by arbitration at the Lex Aura Arbitration Center in accordance with its rules. The seat of arbitration is Yerevan, and the language and the number of arbitrators are determined by agreement of the parties.”

Our Story

Our work began in 2019 in Iran, with a focus on arbitration. As we grew into Armenia, Lex Aura took shape — adding residency, company and contract work alongside arbitration.

Today we are a multilingual team of lawyers, arbitrators and advisors working across Iranian, Armenian and international arbitration law.

Over the years we have seen matters through — from residency and company registration to contract disputes and the enforcement of arbitral awards.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a local partner to register a company?

No; foreign nationals can own a company in full. There is no requirement for a local partner, no minimum capital, and no state fee for a limited liability company.

How long does company registration take?

Usually one to three business days, with the tax number issued at once. Electronic registration is available. .

Do I need to be in Armenia?

Most of the work can be handled remotely via power of attorney. Some steps — such as certain residence card applications — require personal presence.

When can I apply for citizenship?

Generally after three years of lawful residence in Armenia.

Are your arbitral awards enforceable abroad?

Yes, in all states party to the New York Convention 1958 — more than 170 countries.
